Lunar New Year in Massapequa

Here in Massapequa, we welcomed the Year of The Tiger by learning all about the Lunar New Year! Residents participated in themed activities throughout the day which included viewing examples of how the Lunar New Year is celebrated, taboos and superstitions surrounding the holiday, and learning about their own astrologic signs. Of course, there was delicious Asian-inspired cuisine for everyone to enjoy as well. Good fortune and Happy New Year to all!
