Here in Mount Sinai, our food service and recreation teams hosted a special luncheon. Designed to explore cuisines from around the world, the luncheon series was the idea of residents who wanted to travel the world by experiencing different types of food. India was the first stop on our culinary tour, and residents enjoyed traditional foods including homemade naan, vegetable samosas, chicken tikka masala, masoor tadka dal, and kheer, a traditional rice pudding. The luncheon was a huge hit and residents are looking forward to the next stop on their culinary tour.
