The Men's Club at The Bristal Assisted Living at East Northport bonded over a recent trip to The Cradle of Aviation Museum in Garden City, NY.
Old memories were shared and new memories made as the men moved together among the exhibits, sharing their experiences.
U.S. Navy Veteran, Charles "Tom" Rosea, a former Grumman and Pan AM Airlines Aircraft Maintenance Instructor, shared his knowledge and insight on the structure of the F-14 Tomcat. The Tomcat operated aboard U.S. aircraft carriers from 1974 to 2006. The stories told by Tom encouraged other Veterans to share their reminiscences with the group as well.
The Cradle of Aviation Museum, Long Island's premier air and space museum, is dedicated to preserving Long Island's rich aerospace heritage of discovery, inspiring future generations through science and technology.
