At The Bristal at Lake Grove, residents celebrated the life and legacy of the King of Rock 'n' Roll with an immersive Elvis-themed event.
The day began with a lively lecture tracing his journey from humble beginnings in Tupelo to his legendary Las Vegas performances, highlighting the cultural influence he continues to have today.
Our Culinary Club joined the fun by preparing one of Elvis' favorite indulgences, the fried peanut butter and banana sandwich, for fellow residents to sample. They all enjoyed a mini-exhibit featuring rare memorabilia and a timeline of his career milestones.
The evening closed with a screening of Viva Las Vegas and a spirited performance from an Elvis impersonator that had everyone singing, clapping, and smiling along.
It was a day of music, reminiscence, and celebration - proof that Elvis will always be the King in our hearts.
