Here at Sayville we enjoyed a Taste of the Season with papaya smoothies prepared by Chef Rich. Taste of the Season is a regular program featuring new and unique ingredients like papaya, kale, and figs. In addition to sampling the featured ingredient after it has been prepared, residents also learn about the nutritional properties of the ingredient. This month we learned that papaya is high in vitamin C and antioxidants, as well as a refreshing ingredient in smoothies!
