The Bristal at Wayne is celebrating Foreign Language Month by inviting team members to share their cultures with the community. Felix and Hana, members of our Recreation Team, gave an informative lecture about Arab culture to residents. In addition to teaching residents common phrases and showing traditional garments, they also shared items that are typically found in Arab households. Residents enjoyed a traditional mint lemonade drink and enjoyed eating dates, stuffed grape leaves (known as “Warak Enab”), and of course, baklava for dessert.
