Here in Westbury, our community garden is overflowing with fresh vegetables and herbs. The Gardening Club maintains the garden and has been led by the Director of Dining Services for over ten years. Our Director of Food Service incorporates what is grown into a variety of dishes -- like this classic Caesar salad. Romaine lettuce was paired with homemade croutons and dressing for a wonderful salad that residents thoroughly enjoyed. We are looking forward to more dishes featuring produce from our garden as the summer continues!
