Here in Garden City, we transformed our building into a carnival for Grandparents Day. A game room, which included knock down cans, ring toss, golf, Jenga, Connect 4, and table hockey was a huge hit with residents and their families. And since a carnival isn't complete without treats, we had a cotton candy, fresh popcorn, churros, corn dogs and funnel cakes for everyone to enjoy. Entertainment included a magic show where residents and their grandchildren were able to participate. Everyone had an amazing time celebrating the special grandparents in our community!
