The Bristal at Lake Grove had a Luau for Hawaiian Day and we celebrated all day long!
Residents and staff wore their best Hawaiian attire and floral shirts.
To start off the day, Lifestyle Coordinator Zorka did a hula dancing based exercise class to Hawaiian music. The residents also played theme games such as Flamingo Ring Toss and Name That Hawaiian Tune.
Our residents enjoyed a special Hawaiian Lunch Menu, courtesy of Chef Amanda, Food Service Director. A special thank you to TJ, Director of Dining Services, for serving the residents tableside Mai Tais with their meal.
After that, our residents enjoyed an afternoon tea party with the newer residents. Lifestyle Director, Heather, and Lifestyle Coordinators Zorka and Betty, performed a hula dance for the residents and they all got a kick out of it. It was a great luau and we were pleased to be a part of it.
