The residents at Massapequa stepped into the future today with a demonstration of robots by the students and advisers from Walt Whitman High School Robotics Club. They brought in two robots, Bertha and Master Yogurt, and explained how the students – ranging from 14-17 years old – created the plan, designed and built each feature of the robots. We also met the young man who coded the robots to the computer. Some of our residents even got to drive the robots! We truly admired the ingenuity of these students and thank them for coming and sharing their creations!
