Life at The Bristal at Holtsville has been very busy over the past few months. Residents continue to have a variety of activities to choose from even while social distancing, thanks to the creativeness of the recreation team. In addition to regular activities, we also celebrated several special holidays -- including Mother's Day. The amazing ladies in our community received gourmet cupcakes, spa kits, and 'Mom-osas' delivered to their door as a part of their special day.
Although in-person visits are currently on hold, Eileen W.'s grandson was able to deliver a private cello concert. It was beautiful to watch them interact and feel their shared joy in being together.
We are grateful to the local businesses who have supported both our residents and team members. Sprint donated care packages filled with puzzles books, postcards and more -- providing our residents with even more options to stay active. Team members thoroughly enjoyed the subs and heroes generously donated by a local Jersey Mike's franchise.
