The Bristal at Lake Grove hosted our very own “Travel Africa Day,” which featured an engaging lecture led by one of our Recreation Assistants, Rosette. Born and raised in Uganda, Rosette moved to America 14 years ago. She started off the lecture by showing a video of a traditional African dance, and then shared what growing up in Uganda was like. Residents asked plenty of questions and appreciated the opportunity to learn more about Ugandan culture. Rosette ended the lecture with a fascinating virtual tour of Africa.
