Lighting Up the World in Teal in East Meadow

Light up the world in teal day in East Meadow

Here in East Meadow, we showed our support for the Alzheimer's Foundation of America (AFA) by going teal for a day. "Light the World in Teal" is the AFA's initiative to raise awareness and show support for those living with Alzheimer's disease. During the week residents made beautiful crafts to showcase the lights which were displayed on our teal awareness table in the lobby. We also took pictures with our teal attire to show our support. Everyone enjoyed live entertainment and teal cupcakes prepared by our food services team.
