Luxury Skincare Meets Elegant Aging: The Bristal Communities Partner with Borghese Roma

The Bristal Assisted Living is proud to announce its emerging partnership with luxury spa and skin care brand Borghese Roma. Kicking off this partnership, Borghese Roma will be providing 15-minute mini facials by licensed estheticians at select communities of The Bristal during a series of kick-off events.

"These partnerships are essential for our brand to elevate our services to our residents. We want them to have the best, to live their best lives, to use the best products," said Lina Boullali, Regional Director of Hospitality for The Bristal Assisted Living. "For our residents, the beauty salon is a very popular space for them to rejuvenate and have their beauty time. This Borghese skin care is beauty at any age."

Borghese Roma is a prestigious Italian skincare and cosmetics brand with a rich heritage in Italian beauty and wellness. Founded in the 1950s by Princess Marcella Borghese, the brand combines modern science with natural ingredients from Tuscany, offering luxurious formulations and a holistic approach to beauty that reflect timeless elegance across generations.

In honor of this partnership, we are sharing the secret ingredients behind Borghese Roma's time-tested, iconic masks, moisturizers, cremes, and cleansers, each targeting specific skin concerns to leave your skin looking and feeling renewed and radiant.

Bentonite Clay

Derived from volcanic ash, bentonite clay is known for its detoxifying abilities.

Kaolin Clay

This clay is a naturally occurring clay mineral with purifying and absorbent properties.

Sweet Almond Oil

Rich in Omega6 and Omega9, sweet almond oil nourishes and softens skin.

Avocado Oil

Avocado oil is a superfood, rich in nutrients with superior moisturizing properties.

Olive Oil & Fruit Extract

Rich in antioxidants, olive oil and fruit extract helps protect against sun damage and reduce hyperpigmentation.

Watermelon Extract

A high-water content fruit, watermelon extract provides vital moisture to skin.

Vitamin C

Vitamin C is a powerful antioxidant known for helping to improve the appearance of firmness and wrinkles.

Vitamin E

This vitamin nourishes skin's appearance and provides antioxidant benefits.

On the Skin Care Menu

For the beginner, expanding on a skin care routine can seem daunting, with myriad product options on the skin care menu from which to choose. Whether you're taking your first trip to the spa or exploring a new, at-home skin care routine, these are the types of products you'll have to choose from, listed in the order they're generally applied.

Cleanser

Cleansing is not the most glamorous step in a skin-care routine, but it is the most important according to Borghese Roma. This everyday chore can be a treat with the right cleanser.

Exfoliator

Exfoliators help scrub and smooth the skin's surface, removing pore-clogging debris and promoting a healthy, radiant appearance. They may include peptides, which help stimulate collagen production, to create a firmer appearance.

Mask

Borghese is passionate about masking, offering many mask options for face and body, which are designed to meet the individual's skin care needs. There are masks which can be effective in as little as five minutes, and masks that are designed to be left on overnight. There are masks which purify to target breakouts and congested pores, masks which moisturize to hydrate and gently cleanse, masks which revitalize and firm to diminish fine lines and create luminosity, and masks which exfoliate to smooth and even complexion.

Toner

Toner brightens even the dullest skin, hydrates and adds elasticity. When added to a daily skin care routine, toner can have noticeable impact on the appearance and tightness of your skin. It's also a great way to prep for moisturizers and make-up!

Serums and Concentrates

In cremes, oils, and capsules, serums and concentrates are compounds designed to target specific needs in specific regions of the face. The serum may infuse collagen to prepare the skin by using hyaluronic acid, to maximize the skin's capacity to hold onto moisture. It may include wrinkle-relaxers, to decrease the depth and volume of wrinkles and fine lines, or it may protect the skin from environmental pollution using peptides to create a barrier to pollutants. No matter the skin care need, there is a serum or concentrate to provide a boost to your existing routine.

Moisturizer

Moisturizers work best when they are rebalancing skin, restoring hydration, and controlling shine. The right moisturizer will feel effortlessly lightweight and provide a smooth barrier for your skin with which to face the day.
