Mardi Gras festivities in Englewood were a blast! Residents wore purple, green and gold crowns, symbolizing justice, faith, and power. Decorations filled the dining room while everyone enjoyed salmon sliders with slaw and creole shrimp & grits. For dessert, King cake was served, a traditional Mardi Gras dessert made of cinnamon-flavored dough covered in a sweet sugar glaze. An afternoon spent with great food and even better company...let the good times roll!
