Here in Garden City, Memorial Day was spent remembering the service men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice on behalf of their country. Residents wore red, white, and blue and enjoyed a fantastic cookout that included hamburgers, hot dogs, ribs, chicken, fish, and plenty of sides. Firecracker ice pops were the star of our afternoon social and a sweet way to beat the heat.
