National Wine Day in Sayville

Residents at Sayville enjoyed National Wine Day by participating in an afternoon of wine touring throughout our community! Each common area was transformed into a popular wine region from around the globe -- Italy, Spain, Japan, and California. Residents sipped on Italian wine paired with hard cheeses, crackers and grapes before sampling California wine paired with chips and creamy guacamole. The tour continued with Spanish wine paired with Butter Bean dip and pita chips, and finished with Japanese sake wine and mandarin juice paired with shrimp pot stickers and duck sauce. Trivia and fun facts shared by the recreation team made for an educational and tasty afternoon!
