Newsday featured East Northport resident Goldie Schreiber as she celebrated her 104th birthday! Goldie was born during World War I, and lived through the Spanish Flu pandemic of 1918, the Great Depression, and the civil rights era among many other significant benchmarks throughout history. She shared her secret to living such a beautiful long life even through the hardest of times - "I try to be good to everybody...I try my best to make the best of what I've got!" Thank you Goldie for allowing us to celebrate this special day with you!
