Residents from The Bristal at Lynbrook recently spent a crisp autumn day at Hicks Nurseries' 50th annual Fall Festival in Westbury, NY.
Surrounded by colorful mums, pumpkins, and the scent of cider in the air, residents explored the many seasonal delights the festival had to offer. They picked mini pumpkins to carve and paint, sampled homemade treats from the Country Kitchen, and admired the vibrant displays of plants and flowers. The group even got a sneak peak at Hicks' enchanting winter holiday displays, a charming reminder that another festive season is almost upon us.
Hicks Nurseries has been family-owned and operated for 172 years, serving the community and playing a pivotal role in the horticultural development of Long Island's landscape. The Fall Festival has been a highly anticipated, seasonal destination for locals and tourists alike for a half-century.
Lifestyle Director Marissa Torres said, "Residents at The Bristal at Lynbrook had a fantastic fall day at Hicks Nurseries! Here are The Bristal, every day is another opportunity to try something new."
