Residents of The Bristal Assisted Living joyfully welcomed Rosh Hashanah, celebrating the Jewish New Year with heartfelt traditions and community spirit. The festivities included the blowing of the shofar and sharing of their reflections on the year past and expressions of hope for the new year ahead. Residents also enjoyed symbolic food and drink, including apples and honey to symbolize sweet hopes for the future and wine to symbolize tradition and community. Residents also ate challah, the round bread symbolizing the full circle of a year, which is braided in three to four parts symbolizing truth, peace, love, and justice.
This meaningful celebration brought residents together in unity and joy, marking the start of a bright and prosperous year ahead.
