The Bristal at Bethpage brought the lively traditions of the San Gennaro Festival to life this month.
Originating in New York City's Little Italy in 1926, the Feast of San Gennaro honors the patron saint of Naples with food, music, and celebration, a cherished Italian-American tradition that continues to touch hearts and brighten spirits.
The celebration at Bethpage captured that same vibrant energy, featuring homemade arancini prepared by Lifestyle Director Loredana and fresh, warm zeppole Evamarie, Director of Dining Services. Residents enjoyed exciting games and live entertainment by singer Sal Menniti, who had everyone singing, clapping, and dancing along to classic tunes. It was a joyful week of culture, connection, and community fun!
