In celebration of National Houseplant Day, The Bristal at Somerset hosted a delightful event where residents painted pots and planted their very own succulents.
The activity combined creativity with nature, allowing residents to personalize their pots with vibrant designs before carefully potting the plants they'd return to their suite with. The room was filled with laughter and artistry as everyone enjoyed this hands-on experience.
National Houseplant Day has been celebrated on January 10th every year since 2012. It was created as a day recognize the many benefits of houseplants, including improved air quality, reduced stress, boosted productivity, and improved sense of purpose.
It was a wonderful way to celebrate the beauty and wellness-promoting attributes of houseplants to start the new year right!
