The Bristal at Wayne was honored to help two special residents, Rita and Irwin, celebrate their 61st wedding anniversary. Rita and Irwin met at his sister’s wedding. Rita recalled, “He didn’t let me dance with anyone else that night!” Irwin told his best friend, “I met the girl I am going to marry”. They have two children, Adrienne and Michael, and four grandchildren. Rita and Irwin enjoy doing things together, saying, “We enjoyed traveling, playing tennis, and even moving to The Bristal together.” Their advice to younger generations is, “Say nice things, be patient, think before you speak, and remember why you got married in the first place." Congratulations Rita and Irwin and thank you for allowing us to celebrate with you!
