Spring at The Bristal at East Northport has been incredibly busy with numerous holiday celebrations and recognition events. The recreation team has done a fantastic job thinking outside-of-the-box to make sure residents have plenty of opportunities to stay active and engaged.
A favorite with team members and residents, this year's Cinco de Mayo celebration didn't disappoint. Silly sombreros, sweet cake pops, and lively fiesta music made for a fun event -- even though we were apart. Mother's Day was spent celebrating the amazing ladies in our East Northport community. We were also fortunate to surprise one of our residents for her 90th birthday. Grace received numerous gifts from friends and family, and was overwhelmed by the love and attention she received on her special day.
As always, we continue to be honored and grateful for the love and encouragement shown by our local community. Wanting to ensure that all essential workers are recognized, a local Avon representative donated care bags filled with hand lotion and lip balm to our team members. We are so proud of the compassionate care of team provides, and love when others recognize their hard work too!
