From holidays to anniversaries, there were plenty of events this spring at The Bristal at Jericho. Residents celebrated Cinco de Mayo with traditional snacks and beverages delivered by members of the recreation team. Mother's Day included 'Mom-osas', gourmet cupcakes, and even an outdoor concert. It was a perfect day spent celebrating the fantastic women in our community. Memorial Day was a time for reflection -- with residents and staff remembering those who lost their lives in service to their country.
Thanks to the hard word and dedication of the recreation team, residents have had plenty of opportunities to stay active and connected -- including a special anniversary celebration. Staff members pulled out all the stops so that Maryann and Bill G. could celebrate their 44th wedding anniversary in style. The couple enjoyed a private, outdoor dining experience -- complete with flowers and music for them to dance to.
Disney Day was a fun way for staff to celebrate their favorite childhood characters. Dressed in costumes, they delivered specially-made cupcakes -- much to the delight of residents!
