The first day of Sukkot, a Jewish festival, was honored using hands-on creativity. Sukkot traditionally features a Sukkah decorated with harvest crops, where families eat their meals during the festival. In Holtsville, we added our own twist by using fresh fruit and vegetables to create art! Residents throughout the whole community were able to enjoy this multisensory project.
