Residents of The Bristal at East Meadow attended an interactive workshop where they learned the basics of textile art. The workshop, taught by graphic designer and textile artist Emily Martin, was well-attended and a hit with residents and team members alike. Emily showed everyone how to make patterns and designs with stamping techniques, as well as how to use inexpensive objects for art. The finished pieces of art were unique and colorful, and residents are looking forward to their next class with Emily.
