A Fresh Look and a Bright Future: The Bristal at Woodcliff Lake Unveils Newly Refreshed Spaces

The Bristal at Woodcliff Lake recently welcomed friends, families, and professional partners to a special celebration marking a beautiful new chapter for the community. 

Guests gathered to explore the newly refreshed spaces and experience firsthand the thoughtful design details that reflect The Bristal's ongoing commitment to excellence, comfort, and innovation in senior living.

Honoring the Past, Embracing the Future

Executive Director Katrina Labayen opened the celebration with a look back at how far the community has come. "When the community first opened in 2013, it marked a significant milestone as the very first" community of The Bristal in New Jersey. "Today, we are proud to have grown to five  communities across the state, part of a distinguished portfolio of [24] exceptional senior living communities throughout the tri-state area." 

That sense of pride was echoed throughout the evening as guests reflected on the strong relationships and trust that have helped The Bristal continue to grow. Former Council President of Woodcliff Lake, Corrado Belgiovine, presented the community with an official proclamation from the State of New Jersey, recognizing its ongoing excellence and dedication to serving older adults with dignity and care. 

The Heart of the Community

Of course, as Labayen reminded guests, it's the people who truly make The Bristal shine. She expressed heartfelt gratitude to her team for their compassion and commitment to residents throughout the transition. 

Resident Estelle also shared her perspective: "For me, the heart of this place is the people. The team members and my neighbors are always willing to help; they never make you feel alone. My children have been there for me, and I am grateful for that, but I am just as grateful for the support and friendship I have found right here." 

As the community moves into this new era, The Bristal at Woodcliff Lake continues to embody its founding mission, to create a welcoming, compassionate environment where residents can thrive, and every detail is designed with their comfort and vitality in mind.
