The Bristal Helping Hands Visits Animal Rescue

Members of The Bristal Helping Hands made and delivered homemade peanut butter-oatmeal doggie treats to Little Shelter Animal Rescue and Adoption Center in nearby Elwood, NY. Little Shelter, which opened in 1927, is a no-kill animal shelter nestled on six wooded acres dedicated to saving abandoned dogs and cats and placing them into their loving forever homes.

East Northport residents Evelyn Krell and Jackie Chaskel were excited to see Houston, a bloodhound mix, and Gloria, a chihuahua. Houston and Gloria were delighted to do a taste test!

The Bristal Helping Hands members take part in various acts of charity. Giving back to the surrounding community is important to their sense of purpose.
