At The Bristal Assisted Living, we believe in shaping the future of senior living through innovation, excellence, and education.
In advancing our mission, we are proud to announce our partnership with Cornell University's Nolan School of Hotel Administration at the SC Johnson College of Business, facilitated through The Cornell Institute for Healthy Futures. This exciting collaboration introduces a Hospitality and Leadership Internship Program designed to cultivate the next generation of professionals in the luxury senior living industry.
Investing in the Next Generation of Leaders

With this partnership, we are investing in the next generation of leaders who will sustain our standards for excellence, compassion, and innovation," said Amy Silva-Magalhaes, Chief Operating Officer of The Bristal.
This program reflects our belief that the foundation of exceptional senior living is built on the expertise and passion of hospitality and healthcare professionals. By offering hands-on learning opportunities in a luxury senior living environment, The Bristal is helping to bridge the gap between academia and real-world experience.
Addressing the Growing Demand for Skilled Professionals
As demand for skilled professionals in hospitality and healthcare management continues to rise, it is more critical than ever to cultivate talent that aligns with our core values at The Bristal. "This partnership is essential in cultivating a pipeline of top-tier talent [for The Bristal], ensuring that our future workforce is not only skilled but also aligned with our values of innovation and quality," said Heather Kolakowski, Executive Director of The Cornell Institute for Healthy Futures.
