The Bristal at Holtsville celebrated Veterans Day with a ceremony honoring 14 residents who have served. Commander Frank Sanzone of VFW Memorial Post 400 in Farmingville was the guest speaker. Each veteran was presented with a Certificate of Recognition from Frank on behalf of Nicholas Caracappa, Suffolk County Legislator of the Fourth District, and Chair of the Veterans Committee for the Suffolk County Legislature. Some of the residents shared stories from their time in the service.
