Here at Lake Grove we started off Veterans Day with a wonderful dedication ceremony. A heartfelt speech was given by our Executive Director Patti, where each veteran was honored. Each veteran was called by name and branch, and then pinned with a beautiful carnation. Middle Country School District also spoiled all of our veterans and families with homemade, heartfelt cards. The afternoon was spent listening to not only wonderful patriotic tunes, but everyone’s favorite songs performed by Mary from Harmony music. Afterwards residents enjoyed sweet treats made by Chef Amanda.
