The Bristal at York Avenue hosted a graduation ceremony to honor residents who completed a certificate course taught by the Fashion Institute of Technology's (FIT) Center for Continuing and Professional Studies.
The course, Menswear: Iconic Milestones in Fashion History, is part of a program within FIT's Senior Learners initiative. The course highlighted the most influential moments in the evolution of men's clothing from Henry VIII to current celebrities, immersing residents in the history and evolution of iconic styles.
The six-week long program included weekly lectures from FIT professors and a field trip to The Museum at FIT.
